Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park is located in east-central Tanzania. Between the Uluguru and Lumango mountains, in an area of 3,230 km², there is a picturesque savanna with a huge number of impressive baobabs and hundreds of species of large and small animals. Due to the low tourist traffic compared to the northern parks, it remained largely a wild place. Within a few hours of traveling around Mikumi, you can meet almost all animals: elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, many varieties of monkeys, antelopes, zebras, giant marabou.
